Tomosynthesis

New diagnostic modality that allows making Three-Dimensional (3D) images of the breast. Tomosynthesis is a valuable tool in the evaluation of breast injuries and allows the radiologist to evaluate any suspicious lesions in more detail. It also allows finding breast cancer in earlier stages, reducing additional visits. It also often reduces the recommendation for more invasive procedures such as breast Biopsies.
